Plicatus . Irish snowdrop with large triangular flowers on erect scapes .leaves plicate upright arching, broad grey -green . Outer segments ,clawed bluntly pointed . Inners roughly ‘X’ shaped mark across segment with solid base . Named after wife of Sir Frederick Moore , former director of Glasnevin Botanical gardens .1940  18cm
