( Hybr Cultivar )  Possibly a hybrid between G.nivalis and G.plicatus  Large well shaped flowers . Leaves blue gray ,glaucescent flat or lightly explicative .Gal. Atkinsii type similar to back house spectacles. from the garden of Mr and Mrs R Backhouse of Sutton Court, Hereford. Notable for its large flowers.
