Galanthus. “Scrooge” Plicatus

Gal. “Scrooge” plic .Early, substantial rounded flowers with gloomy looking face as the inner segment marking, and triangular green ovary. Leaves erect, explicative, grey-green. Outer segments broad, rounded, puckered, rounded at apex. Inner segments slender, narrow inverted green “V” shaped mark. above sinus, two small eye dots towards base giving a pinched, gloomy expression to flower hence the name.  Seedling from Plic  Three ships .Wol and Sue  Staines Glen Ghantry.
