Galanthus The Pearl

(Plicatus ) RARE. An elegant flower, beautifully pendant, (hence the name from the drop-pearl flower shape). The inner petals are apple green. The wide leaves are dark green. Elegant Pearl drop flowers on slender pedicel mowe well in breeze . Slow . Sir Frederick Stern`s Garden, Highdown,Sussex ,1960 At least two other snowdrops in circulation with this name , with minor differences in shape of inner segment marking . one of my favored Snowdrops with large bulbs
